Why did my AI explanation / chat message fail?

The free tier includes 1 AI-explained G-code import, 5 feed/speed explanations, and 5 chat messages per day, reset at midnight UTC. Once you're over a daily limit, that feature shows an upgrade prompt until it resets. The deterministic parts of the app — G-code parsing, the 3D toolpath viewer, and the feed/speed calculator's numbers — are never limited, only the AI explanation step.

Are the feed/speed numbers safe to run as-is?

They're conservative starting points meant to be tested cautiously on your own machine, not guaranteed-safe values for every setup. Always verify feeds, speeds, and workholding before running a real job, and wear appropriate PPE.

Does the app work offline?

G-code import, the 3D/2D toolpath viewer, simulation playback, and the feed/speed calculator's numbers all work fully offline. Only the AI explanation and chat features need a connection.

How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?

Open the Pro screen (the icon in the top-right of any tab) and use Restore Purchases — Apple re-delivers your existing entitlement, no login required.
